Fitness
training, mindset

I’ve been training in the gym for somewhere around 8 years now as I type this (26/7/24).
It’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made in my early 20s, life-changing fr.
It’s come to a point where I’ve built a pretty decent physique.
(for context, I’m about 70kg and 173cm)
I feel more comfortable in my own skin nowadays and somehow that feeling has rubbed off my peers.
I still get imposter syndrome whenever I’m asked about my fitness journey or training advice.
The truth is that I was just a creative nerd who yearned for change.
And change is not easy.
Especially, when you can’t seem to find inspiration from the right perspective.
I mean, I’m not looking to be Mr Olympia or making a living as a fitness icon.
I just want to look and feel good, and I think many people do too.
To know that we have the willpower to power through different aspects in life.
To speak confidently in body language when we present our best work.
To realise an endurance we possess through challenging times.
Turns out all of the above is possible through discipline in fitness.
The problem is that to “just do it” feels impossible when there’s no clear why or how.
Hence this project, and what I will do is share actionable steps in creative ways that have worked for me.
What I won’t do is force you to put in the work. You either want it or you don’t.
But man, will you thank yourself if you do.

Tbh I’ve been afraid to put this idea out there for awhile now.
I lacked the courage a few years ago, but got inspired by the people on Buildspace.
I thought, if not now then when?
