Something I've learned from posting my rants about the gym is that you don't always need a script to create content, but you need to know enough about the subject to make it happen. In my case, I've found that it lowers the odds of expressing structured thoughts, but increases how naturally I talk.

There are pros and cons to that. The pros are that I can steer the topic wherever and share my thoughts like a casual conversation. The cons are that without a specific topic, I usually go off-tangent and that risks looking aimless.

However, I understand that you have to be willing to be a fool to advance in life. Especially when you're trying something new. It's this mindset that has given me the courage to push forward even when the content's cringe. Except, lately, the content hasn't felt as cringe.

It's a good sign but it made me curious. So, I looked back at my content and what I've realised is that I've been applying small improvements over the last few months which looks like this:

  1. create, but no posting

  2. started posting images, but no captions

  3. started posting videos, but no talking

  4. started posting talking videos, but no editing

  5. started posting edited talking videos, but no value

Through that pattern, I've got an idea of what the next step is, especially after being inspired by the Akatsuki yesterday. I've gotten pretty consistent with the formulas above so far but displaying skills and value for strangers is going to be a challenge.

Which is going to bring out cringe.
Which usually leads to growth.
Which is exactly why I have to do it.
