Life
recap, travel, conference

A quarter of a century, damn
I did a lot of moving this year.
I found new gyms, moved between rented spaces and visited new countries.
It feels symbolic to me, because I also saw that shift in my workspace, workouts and workflows too.
My environments have changed, and I feel like I’ve given myself a decent start for 2026.
I’m starting to stride in some aspects and amongst my achievements, I’m most surprised about the development of my passion project. I’m not sure what took me so long to connect the dots between it and my personal brand, but that small decision has allowed me to become more myself.
I’m also starting to see deeper habits forming over the years.
Some notable mentions of my journey so far include:
Documenting my design process more openly (bought a mic)
Completed my 5th year of Inktober (Part 1, 2, 3, 4)
Created my 4th logo (case study)
Recapping my progress for the 2nd year (2024)
Studying my 4th year of Japanese, passed the N5 exam
Quit my job to be self-employed (Skunkworks)
Summarised my journey through logos (1, 2, 3, 4)
Blogging weekly for almost 1.5 years
Filled up 2 more notebooks
Being more active on YouTube
Went on 2 career trips (Chris Do’s Personal Branding / Denmark’s Future Product Days)
Leaning new softwares (Spline, DaVinci Resolve, Affinity)
Exploring new AI workflows (ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, DALL-E, Gemini, Midjourney, Nano Banana) (1, 2, 3, 4)
Officially started my personal branding journey (vlogging more)
Fleshing out more of Warlockwolf’s brand identity
Making bigger financial investments, getting more familiar with ETFs
Invested in more hardware for content creation
Travelled to Denmark + Sweden solo
Increased my body weight beyond 70kg
Repping the muscle-ups regularly
Pistol squats are getting easier
Stretching more consistently
I’m proud of myself for getting through the year, some weeks felt impossible.
I’m grateful to my friends and family, they keep me going.
Overall, this year’s transition has been kind to me and I’m keen to see where it takes me.
In other news, tomorrow’s going to be leg day.
What a great way to end the year.
