I pulled together 500+ reference pins on Pinterest as I worked on the project. The whole thing draws from a post-apocalyptic world of fantastical tragedies, and the very first character on the list was Warlock Wolf.

CHALLENGE
The Challenge
To sketch and paint a full character from scratch, every day, for a month was its own endurance test. As an effort to elevate my standards year on year, I challenged myself by laying the sheets out in a meaningful but playful way. Then, I experimented with AI models to explore more character variations without diluting the core ideas.

I built an inspiration archive weeks ahead of the project so every character had a clear visual reference before I started. By leaning on a mix of creative software, I was able to keep art and design working together. By the end of it, I experimented with different AI models to explore character variations and model limitations.
