2024
This project was a dynamic six-month content creation endeavour at Skunkworks Communications for Volkswagen’s big campaign during 2024 in Malaysia and Singapore — celebrating 50 years of Golf.

The whole campaign was pre-AI: every graphic was designed or hand-drawn from scratch by the team, start to finish, across six months end-to-end. We made sure to look up every credible corner of the internet to find inspiration from racing platforms and Russian car forums.

CHALLENGE
The Challenge
The brief was to surface 50 distinct, genuinely interesting facts about the Golf, while keeping the car's rebellious attitude in the tone — without undermining the brand's image. Doing that consistently meant leading a team of nine without our content or energy going stale.
STRATEGIES
& Solutions
We compiled and filtered ideas as a team, before building a shared design template so every instance stayed consistent. We explored the car from technical or unusual angles such as blueprints, racing photography and past collaborations. Spearheading this project, I assigned teams and split the work by what each person was best at, while leading the creative direction.
