LOBOLAB
2026
On my 4th year of Inktober, I asked myself what 'warlockwolf' meant to me. It started off as a playful way to bring my character to life through 31 visuals for the month. However, it eventually grew into a deeper concept once I added a touch of design to my artwork.

DID YOU KNOW?
LOBOLAB is a merger of two earlier projects, Wolftober 2024 and Warlock Wolf, united as one. It marks my fourth year running Inktober, and this time the goal was explicit: combine art and design into a single coherent practice instead of treating them as separate lanes.

CHALLENGE
The Challenge
The hard part was making art and design feel like one coherent brand rather than two things bolted together — building a tone authentic enough to hold up as personal work, but modular enough to flex across any industry if the system were ever applied commercially. Underneath both was the harder task: tying the whole thing back to an actual goal and mission, not just an aesthetic.
STRATEGIES
& Solutions
I made the deliberate call to lead with design and let the artwork sit inside that framework, rather than the reverse. Getting the tone right meant experimenting with brushes and textures until something felt authentically mine rather than referential. The project closes with a conversion page, turning what started as a personal exploration into an actual funnel for anyone who wants in.
